Roughly 85% of new homes in Northern Colorado are put up by large corporate builders headquartered in Denver, Dallas, or Atlanta. Ours are not. The plumber, the electrician, and the general contractor all live here — our GC coaches the high school baseball and softball teams. The money we pay them stays in town.
